Fishing Report November/December./Jan

Well I hope that you have all had a chance to visit us since we have renovated the shop. We are getting so many positive comments and lots of regular customers for our hamburgers and coffee.
We are still selling a full range of frozen bait and lots of baits that you will not find in the servo's freezers. Also we are selling Beach Worms as usual and we have been getting a supply of Blood Worms. These are fantastic bait in the rivers particularly for whiting and some customers are travelling from the other end of the coast to buy these worms and taking them back up the the Broadwater and canals and getting fantastic catches. They are not cheap but you will start to get bites the minute that they hit the water.
We have also got in a large supply of folding crab pots and dillies as these months are great for blue swimmers and mud crabs. We can advise you re sizes and bag limits and regulations for catching crabs in N.S.W.
Already fishermen are coming in with reports of catching Mangrove Jack and if you are going to target this great fighting fish you are best to use live bait, or lures. There are some lures that are proven hits for catching Jacks. Come in and we will point you in the right direction.

Good whiting now and for the next few months again we have the best bait with the live worms.
On the beaches we will see good catches of whiting, bream and flathead - pipis, prawns, live worms.
We have had a month of high winds and the conditions have been terrible for off shore fishing. Hopefully November will be less windy and there will be more days of off shore fishing. I will try to update the offshore report as we get more information.
Hope to see you in the shop soon
