Fishing Report December/January

Sorry for no report October/November but was some of you already know Neil and I had a long overdue holiday. During this time we were fortunate enough to have our son-in-law Dave and daugher Carolyn look after the shop for us on the weekends. We are back on the job and open every day now except Christmas Day.
The Mulloway classic finishes end of November so you still have a week left to catch a big one. Testing kits and entry forms can be picked up from the shop. Good Luck.

FISHING REPORT SEPTEMBER

Well the weather is starting to heat up and this month will see the start of the crabbing season. As a rule of "R" in them. We have just received a shipment of witches hats (dillies) and round folding crab traps so if you need a new supply for summer come in and get a great price. We also stock wire pots that are made for us in Brisbane and these are popular for the person who wants to leave the crab pot out over night.

FISHING REPORT - AUGUST

THE COLD WEATHER IS BRINGING ON SOME GOOD REPORTS OF LUDERWICK IN THE TWEED RIVER. UP UNTIL THIS POINT THE SEASON HAS BEEN A FAIRLY POOR ONE COMPARED TO LAST YEAR. THE USUAL SPOTS - BOYDS BAY BRIDGE AND DRYDOCK ROAD HAVE JUST NOT FIRED THIS YEAR TO DATE. ALSO IT DOES NOT HELP THAT LOCAL WEED SUPPLIES HAVE BEEN WASHED AWAY WITH ALL THE WET WEATHER. LUCKILY WE HAVE AGAIN BEEN ABLE TO SOURSE A SUPPLY FROM YAMBA AND IT HAS BEEN WORKING WELL. OUR BLACK MAGIC HOOKS ARE PROVING POPULAR AGAIN WITH MANY DRIVING UP FROM BRUNSWICK TO BUY THEM.
